This morning I came into work and the air conditioning wasn't working properly. It's 33 degrees.

Just before a scheduled meeting, we all collectively decide to postpone it until we get some gelato from the nearby place on King st.

Now equipped with $30 of gelato and 5 flavours, we're prepared to have a meeting.

My work mate added his gf to our task tracking system as a user for a genunine reason (I can't remember why exactly)

Since she was in the system, I decided that to create her a task!

Priority: Critical
Subject: Cookies
Description: Christmas is approaching and the office does not have cookies!

I am happy to report there is now a box of cookies on my desk and I can close the task.

For a hundred a week, the rent's cheap. So I'll be there for a couple of months at least until I decide what I want to do with the next job or travelling time.

The room itself was a bit ugly. There were random phone terminal points and the carpet...

The carpet in the room wasn't appealing at all so I've started to rip it off. The underlayer had stuck to the floor and I had to scrape the marjority of it off.

Now it's a matter of pulling out staples using some fine pair of pliers and then using a belt sander and a layer of finish to it. I estimate it'll take another week for me to get that stuff sorted.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to having a fun time in the Brahouse.
